PE – Curriculum information

Teaching physical education at Adelaide Primary School, reflects a commitment to providing all pupils with a broad, inclusive, and ambitious learning experience. Our teaching of physical education emphasizes developing students’ physical competence, fostering teamwork, and promoting lifelong healthy, active lifestyles. The P.E curriculum is designed to be inclusive and structured, ensuring all pupils, including those with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), receive appropriate support and opportunities to succeed.

Our curriculum focuses on building proficiency and confidence in a range of physical activities, such as swimming and team sports, and incorporates a diverse array of extracurricular options. These activities aim to enhance skills, encourage participation, and provide a balanced and enriching experience for every student. Our approach to teaching P.E reflects the school’s commitment to nurturing both physical well-being and personal development through high-quality physical education.
