Relationship, Sex and Health Education

In our modern world of high-pressure social media and easy internet access, our children, more than ever before, need careful education and support in regard to their relationship, sex and health education. Our RSE lessons are delivered by experienced, well-trained staff and are carefully pitched to the children’s age. RSE lessons are delivered in a sensitive, controlled manner, giving children the correct information they need to be safe and informed.

In 2021, the government made statutory changes to what Primary Schools should teach in PSHE (personal, social, health education) and SRE (sex and relationships education). Many lessons are now compulsory, and parents are no longer able to withdraw their child from certain lessons.

Our updated PSHE (personal, social, health education) policy and SRE (sex and relationships education) policy are attached below and have been ratified by the school’s governing body.
